Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville
Okay, we got suckered into the gimmick, because who doesn't like Jimmy Buffet? I have to say, though, we had a good meal and a great time and we'd happily go back. We did the predictable thing and started out with (different flavoured) margaritas all around, which were excellent. The menu is so stereotypically American it's almost funny, but of course that's what you'd expect from Jimmy, and we embraced it wholeheartedly, ordering burgers, fried shrimp, and lots of french fries. The atmosphere was so fun and interesting, we had a great time (and not in an ironic way) and really enjoyed every moment. This is definitely a touristy place rather than a hangout for locals, though. [more] |
