Town Hall
Bern is a very important city worldwide and one of the most modern european capitals. Therefore, one would expect a multi-storey townhall, with a modern exterior and all facilities. Well, you’re going to have a big surprise when seeing the town hall of Bern. The building is rather small and of gothic style. It dates from the 15th century. It is obviously very well preserved and I’m sure it’s very modern on the inside. The exterior is very interesting, in structure, but personally I didn’t like it because of the colors it was painted with.Some friends that used to live there told me that when they have an important meeting inside, they hang a flag on the roof .
