THE LEEDS ART GALLERY
The Leeds Art Gallery was opened in 1888 and it is located in West Yorkshire. The gallery was declared by the UK Government a collection of ‘National importance’. The art gallery contains a vast collection of traditional and contemporary paintings, drawings and sculptures, but what I liked the most was the café library, a place were you can enjoy a good coffee and a great book. I was very impressed by the manager’s idea to combine art with reading, culture and a mini coffee shop all in the same place. [more] |
