Others I've heard from say that the Kennedy Coffee Roasting Company puts Starbucks to shame. While I love Starbucks, I'll admit that this place was pretty good. I still prefer the ambience and popularity of Starbucks, though... (and who could forget those wonderfully delicious Strawberry Frappucinos?) The coffee here is roasted right at the shop, and is never over-roasted to the point of where the distinct regional tastes of the beans are burned out. Their espressos are loaded with a Guiness-like crema, which many people rave about. The staff members are nice, but aren't overly friendly. They can also be a bit slow at times, as well, but then again, some folks say that the coffee here is worth the wait of those few extra minutes. [more] |
