Jarun lake stars

Dubbed "Zagreb's artificial sea" by the locals, Jarun lake has become one of the most popular spots in Zagreb regardless of the time of the year. It consists out of 2 lakes, a smaller and a bigger one with 6 islands interspersed in between. Even though I myself quite fancy going there in the winter time for a stroll, it is the center of activity during the summer months. It is easy to understand why as Jarun lake is surrounded by café and clubs that come alive during the summer months, as the nightlife activities move from the center of the city itself.
