Deiá's beach
This is one of the most peculiar beaches I have been to. In the first place, it was not so easy to find the last road to get there. The signs are not clear at all, and you will probably need to ask somebody in town as I did. Then you have to bear in mind that the parking lot charges per stay and you will need change to get the ticket for the machine. The beach has no sand but stones and at the moment I visited it was pretty crowded. It is a close bay and the water is clear, dark emerald green. Some people were wearing shoes to get into the water, but I didn’t find this really necessary. There are two restaurants directly on the beach which were crowded as well, however the atmosphere was very nice and not so noisy. For me it was a good choice to visit Deiá’s beach early during the day and visit in Valldemossa, in the same area, later in the afternoon. [more] |
