Possums in the park
Australian people seem to hate possums but I think they are the cutest things and watch excitedly any time I see one, I guess its because I'm from London and not used to seeing any type of wild animals about! If you share my enthusiasm for possums, or just want to catch a glimpse of one then head down to Flagstaff Gardens in Melbourne's CDB after dark and there are loads of them. There is even a possum man who feeds them (I wouldn't recommend feeding them as he gets bitten to shreds, but still it doesn't seem to deter him!) The possums come up really close and there are loads of them too so you are guaranteed to see one, actually your pretty much guaranteed to see loads! [more] |
