Ady Memorial Museum is located at V. Veres Pálné utca 4-6 (take Metro to Ferenciak tere, Tram 2 or Bus 8 or 15). Ady Endre was a famous Hungrian poet from the turn of the 19th century. This small memorial museum is exhibited in the last apartment Ady Endre and his wife lived. The exhibition which includes some of Ady's most important work and furnishings him and his wife used will transport you to the end of the century as it looks like either Ady or his wife could return at any moment. Opening hours are Mar - Oct daily from 10:00am until 6:00pm (closed on Mon and Tue) and from Nov – Feb 10:00am until 10:00am until 4:00pm (closed Mon and Tue). [more] |
