St. Nicholas Church
This is not the same St. Nicholas Church that is located at the Old Town Square, this is the St. Nicholas church that is located at Malostranské náméstí (take Metro to Malostranská or trams 12, 22). This particular church was over 60 years in the making, it was the original design by Dientzenhofer however his son had to complete the work on this church. It has a pretty cupola, a wonderful façade as well as a number of cherbus that are scattered all over the interior. The bell tower was added some 40 years after St. Nicholas nave was completed due to the lack of funds. Opening hours daily from 9:00am until 4:00pm. [more] |
