City Hall Park
City Hall Park (Rathaus Park) is a park just outside of City Hall. It has a few fountains and a number of statues, while there are plenty of picnic tables and food stalls nearby so you can grab a bite and enjoy the sunshine in the middle of the city. During the summers the park is a venue for outdoors concerts, while in the winter time the Rathaus Park is home to the world famous Christmas market or Christkindlmarkt which is a must see if you visit Vienna during the Christmas time. And I should know I have the coffee cups to prove it. [more] |
