Cold food
This is our last visit...the Friday special is a double cheeseburger with bacon in which we and others didn't get...the gal stated "oh we forgot to tell you that we are out of bacon" but still charged us full price, we waited 40 mins for our order, which was cold. Any other fast food joint can serve mass amounts of people in 10 to 15mins max...I believe less chit chat and planning would solve this issue [more] |

Wagner's Pool Hall
Wagner's pool hall is a legendary landmark of Owatonna. Well, at least most locals believe it is. What we have here is an old-style pool hall with about 6 tables and a front section of a bar (only beer as far as alcohol) and a few booths. This place is the first restaurant my step-dad took me when I moved to Owatonna many years ago, and it has not changed. Part of the reason it doesn't change is that it's family owned. Part of the reason it doesn't change is because it's always busy. Part of the reason it doesn't change is that it's a damn fine pool hall. As far as food is concerned, this is grease-burgers with extra grease, freshly made to order. There are always specials on the chalk board up top, so watch for the good deals on there!
