Ah, El Tepeyac.
Be sure to come to El Tepeyac with an empty stomach and a huge appetite because their portions are the biggest I've ever seen at a Mexican restaurant.
I had been told about their burritos here and, of course, had to try one after hearing so many raves about how wonderful they are... and really, they're awesome. The tortillas are oversized to a point of making me look like a midget, packed with beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, whatever kind of meat you want along with any other ingredient you may want, such as guacamole (which is quite good here). While the restaurant is small and loud, opt to eat outside if the weather permits to join the other folks with the enormous burritos who practically have to stand up to eat them right.
El Tepeyac is located at 812 North Evergreen Avenue in Los Angeles, California. [more ]
