Sprazzo, Los Angeles

When I first came here, Sprazzo had been graced with the Wine Spectator Grand Award for five years running, and even though I haven't been here in quite a while, it wouldn't surprise me if this restaurant was still the leading champion.

Their bread here is incredibly soft and delectible, served with an addictive olive paste that makes it hard to stop eating.

I had the shrimp risotto when I came here, which was simple, yes, but delicious. I would highly recommend it, at the very least.

And their desserts...? Cobbler, Tiramisu... oh. Wonderfully sinful. [more ]
