Festival: New York State Festival of Balloons
New York State Festival of Balloons is one of the biggest shows of its kind. I spent three days at the end of August enjoying this celebration. It is an event that does not focus only on balloon shows but on Car shows or arts and crafts too. I was with my aunt, uncle and little niece and I was surprised to see that the children were not asked to pay the 5$ ticket and that many of the amusement activities were for kids. The balloons floated all over the large valley and really put on a special show. The colors were all different and the shapes too. I liked the purple one, shaped as a spider, the best. The only thing I was surprised to see was that they allowed no pets or coolers and that the rules were pretty strict. [more] |
