Good thing this fish is dead...
...otherwise it would probably protest at having sacificed itself for such dreadful dishes. We went here once, thinking it would have a great view over the harbor (which on the top floor admittedly it has) and, being a fish restaurant in Hamburg, would know how to cook fish. Unfortunately at the Fischhaus they haven´t heard of a good meal in a long time, to fish was overcooked and tasted of nothing at all, the service was nothing to write home about, the white wine was room temperature, and the interior is about as tasteful as a hospital cantine. Go 500m up the road to the fishmarket and pick a restaurant there instead, even if it might cost you a couple bucks more. It´s worth it.
