Petřín Hill, Prague

4.0 stars

Petrin hill

Petrin hill is a big hill in the Mala Strana quarter of Prague. The whole hill is like a big park with alleys and terraces among the trees. On the top of the hill is the Petrin observation tower – a great place to have a view around the city. There is also an easy way to climb the hill – from the southern side of Mala Strana, near the river there is a funicular taking you to the top near the tower, of course for a few coronas. The hill is only around 350 meters high but from the different terraces one can see wonderful views towards the different parts of the city but, of course, the view from the tower is the best.
