Popular with Australians, an insider tip for tourists
The campsite “Congo” at Eurobodalla National Park is a large grassy area with only a bush toilet. Wooden stairs lead over the dunes to the beach, which has some good surfing spots during the right times of year. On the other side of the campsite a shallow lagoon, offers safe fun for children. For five dollars per person per night you can usually pick a spot anywhere you like here. Over the holidays, especially during the Christmas season, the campsite becomes very crowded, as it is extremely popular with Australians who live in the area. [more] |
