Benihana's Japanese Food - in the Gold Coast Marriott Hotel
I've been to Benihana's Japanese restaurant twice before and would love to return! It's a Teppanyaki restaurant where up to eight people sit around a large iron grill where the Japanese chef cooks authentic and absolutely delicious lunch or dinner! If you have a bigger group than eight you can get a seperate room with two grills as we did on year. I would return again and again if my student income was bigger! It's in the Marriott hotel, so definately not budget food! It's not over the top expensive though. I never had really tried Japanese before until the first time I went here and although there were some foods cooked that I didn't like I ate it all, it was so good!! The chefs do fany tricks like flipping prawns into your mouth for you to catch (they're a good shot). They have several different menus but everyone needs to decide on one as they cook the food for all at once. I recommend the fried ice cream!! [more] |
