Dangriga
After about 20 minutes in the air from Belize City, we landed in Dangriga (Stann Creek District). The airport was just a one tiny room with a desk, couple chairs and a TV. It was brand new, very clean and overall made a great impression on us. We were greeted by Francis, our driver and later our guide from the resort, Belizean Dreams. Francis was nice and polite, gave us immediately some ice-cold bottle water and iced towels (presumably for our faces) and off we were to our hotel. We drove from Dangriga to Hopkins, which is about a 35-minute drive. On the way, Francis was pointing to more interesting points and explained what things were. [more] |
