Where to Go for Burgers in Surfers Paradise
If you are starvin’ marvin after a swim in the ocean or from taking in the sights that Surfers Paradise in the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia offers, then head to Global Burgers. It is Shop 3 at 3063 Surfers Paradise Boulevard (Telephone: 07-55388160). Global Burgers is not your average burger shop. It provides generous portions at decent prices and the ingredients are definitely fresh. I got the Morocco Burger, which is a fried spiced chickpea patty with barbequed eggplant, rocket, tomatoes, and mayonnaise. My partner dug into a Wellington Burger, which is a ground lamb fillet with mint relish, potato, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayonnaise. We also ordered French fries/chips with our meals: one plain and one with Cajun spice sprinkled on top. We were completely stuffed and didn’t even finish all of our food. We liked the taste of our meal and recommend the shop to other visitors. The only drawback was that Global Burgers makes you pay extra for ketchup/tomato sauce. What is up with that? Our whole meal, including drinks, was less than A$35. You can save money by bringing your own water bottle and/or splitting a meal if you are not that hungry. [more] |
