Coffee and haircuts
In the North Beach area of San Francisco, just opposite Washington Square we found Mario’s Bohemian Cigar Store Café. There’s a sign that says ‘don’t tell the tourists’ but it looked like the word is out about the fantastic foccacia sandwiches and the great cappuccino. it’s a good place to sit outside on the pavement and people watch, and on the sunny side of the street too…no cigars though. We then had the best haircut in town at Kims Precision Haircuts just up the street. Kim and her buddy have been cutting hair for 21 years and know how to make a neat trim for women and men alike, only $12. Scalp massages are available at extra cost. [more] |
