A traditional Irish Pub in Vancouver
Vancouver has many great Irish pubs and the Irish Heather is one of my favorites! The Irish Heather is in Gas Town in a wonderful old area of the city with coble stone streets and some of the cities oldest buildings. Of course something like my next statement is highly subjective, but I find it is arguably the best Guinness pore in Vancouver. One of the things I love the most about the Irish Heather is that it’s in a unique old building with many different areas to sit; I find it very cozy and exactly what you would expect from an Irish pub. I find it’s a great place to have a few pints with friends, or even sit the evening away and have many. As far as price goes this place is reasonable; however when having an evening out at an Irish pub the price can get out of hand quickly – usually the sign of a good pub. [more] |
