Verea Caves for the Ultimate Cavewoman Experience!
I stayed in Verea Cave 2 for two nights in November 07. The caves are located in a quiet cobbled street high up in the gypsy Sacromonte area of Granada with spectacular views across to the world renown stunning Alhambra. The cosy cave, with its white washed walls and typical Spanish interiors, consisted of a double bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, sitting area and shower room. The cave was dotted with interesting vivid flamenco plates and mosaic tiles and brightly coloured rugs covered the floor. The whole experience was fascinating and unique. I thoroughly enjoyed my adventurous stay which took my mind back to the prehistoric times. [more] |
