Greek Food Festival
This is the perfect place to learn about Greek culture or just enjoy stuffing your face. Either way, it's almost a sure thing that you will enjoy coming here, even if you've never had Greek food even once in your life. Although it IS called a Greek food festival, there are, naturally, more foods available than just Greek. Expect to sample some delicious Georgian, Romanian and even Russian (which are my favourite here) dishes at this annual event as you listen to the ever-traditional music playing. Be sure to enjoy watching traditional dances, and sampling exotic flavors, such as gyros (I absolutely love this stuff), souvlaki, feta-cheese pizza (mmm) and mouth-watering handmade desserts. Some Greek-made products are also for sale, such as religious figurines, clothing and rugs. Tours of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church are offered at scheduled times each day.
