THE LEEDS PARISH CHURCH
The Leeds Parish Church is also named Church of St. Peter and, architecturally speaking, it’s the most important church in Leeds, but, what impressed me the most was the church's history; the first manuscripts of the Parish Church were found in the 7th century and then it began to be mentioned in many other documents along that time until the present day. In the 14th century a fire almost completely destroyed the church and in was rebuilt after a short period of time. In 1841 it was completely renovated and it still looks like that even today. It was very interesting learning more about this church and I don’t regret the visit. [more] |
