Muckross House in Killarney National Park
There are skeptics claiming that the furniture exhibited in the Muckross House is “in period style”, meaning that it doesn’t identify with the age of the house. True or false the furniture is altogether rare and I enjoyed this guided tour showing also exhibits of Irish history, flora and fauna. I really think these 19th century house and garden is the heart of Killarney National Park. It’s really charming, a perfect place for recreation since it includes an old monastery, Muckross Abbey, a few restaurants, small shops and a beautiful lake. Open daily from 09.00am till 06.00pm.
