You may want to start your tour of Little India at the bus stop on Serangoon Road that is in front of Tekka Center. This is one of the oldest roads that you will be able to find in Singapore; so old that this particular road was marked on ancient maps as “The Road Through The Island”. One of the most prominent scenes here in Serangoon Road is the traditional means of business which is street peddling.
