Kuching river cruise
Kuching is a small place and I soon found myself looking for stuff to keep me busy. There isn’t much to do but the river cruise is a good way to spend a couple of hours or so. There are a few departures during the day and one in the evening. I took the one that would catch the sun setting which was a good choice as I got some cool pictures. The boat doesn’t go far down the river but it does pass some sights and a huge mosque which look pretty cool. There is also a bit of a show on the boat so you get to see some traditional dancing in costume which was pretty cool. Snacks and drinks are also provided and it was pretty cheap too. Take binoculars if you have some so you can look out for the fish that walk on their fins on land (no I’m not joking), they can be seen on the sides of the river if you are lucky. [more] |
