Church of San Patricio
The church of San Patricio is definitely a landmark of Lorca. It’s really beautiful and worth visiting. Before getting to Lorca, we knew nothing about it, but there were some locals in the plaza in front of the church and we asked them to tell us a little bit about the church’s history. They told us it was built aount the 16th century and it’s dedicated to a victory the spaniards won over the Moors. The exterior is rather common, but the interior of the church is really overwhelming. We wanted to go to mass too, but unfortunately, found no time for that. Nevertheless, I recommend visiting this church. It is really beautiful. [more] |
