Resid'Hotel Marseille Le Grand Prado
This was the first of two hotels we tried in Marseilles, and to be honest we left because we didn't want to waste our entire vacation in this place. Supposedly the hotel has a rating of three stars, but I can't imagine that's based on any scale that could be verified by an official authority, because this was more like a dirty, run-down guest house. The best thing I can say is that the staff were apologetic when we checked out early, but they couldn't offer any kind of improvement on the room we already had. The bed was terrible, the matress was more like a thin futon pad and one of the legs on the bed frame was broken. There was a lot places where the cleaners were lazy, as well.
