Tandoor Palace
I remember having eaten at a place that started with Tandoor… something. Perhaps I was there for the second time when I noticed the quality of the food. Indian food is in fact not so healthy compare to the Polish traditional food but as it is exotic to me, curry tastes good. I also tried the mandras (this is in fact chicken). I like spicy food, especially some of the dishes they serve here. Again, it is not healthy but delicious. The prices are high, as expected but understandable taking into consideration that they would have o buy some of the ingredients from India. Restaurant: Tandoori Place
After many Polish food experiences I decided to try Indian food. The traditional South Indian cooking seemed to be an interesting idea so I chose Tandoori Place, a highly awarded restaurant. I expected the place to be bigger and more expensive because of the boasting publicity: The best Indian food in Warsaw. The restaurant is not exactly classy or elegant. It has all you can eat offers and many discounts for different combinations of food or for different orders. I could see what I chose because many of the foods were unfamiliar. The waiters spoke strange English but it turned out to be a nice experience. Most of the items in the menu included tandoor so I ordered Boneless Chicken Pieces marinated in spiced yoghurt and cooked in tandoor and Indian lentil soup.
