Triple O's Restaurants, Vancouver
If you want to pretend you're a local, then this is the place to eat. Triple O's have been a favourite of Vancouverites for years - they offer good value and good food. This small chain of restaurants are mainly located on the lower mainland (Vancouver and area) but a few have sprung up elsewhere in the province of British Columbia. The staple of the Triple O's menu is the hamburger (100% beef) which must be served with hot home style french fries and, of course, a delicious thick classic milkshake. Yum-o, as Rachel would say. I'm sure there are other items on their menu but I truly wouldn't know! I never make it past their cheddar bacon burger with fries and a chocolate shake. Does this tell you enough? The restaurants are retro in the sense that there is memorablia diplayed throughout so you're not bored while you're eating. So when you're in Vancouver, find a Triple O's and enjoy.
