Manganari Beach – Ios - Greece stars

Manganari is the beach that is often called Paradise Beach by both the locals and tour operators alike. It truly is a piece of paradise and I found myself marveling and how clear the sea is at this unspoil stretch of coastline. Manganari beach is set on the opposite side of Ios island to the main town and resort areas and although you could actually cross the island by motorbike or car the roads are so close to non-existent that it is better to go the way almost every else does – and that is by boat. The trip takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes but it can be quite a rough crossing. It would be normal to go with a tour group and make a day of it… and it certainly will be a day to remember! [more]
