Penny Street Bridge Hotel
I didn't believe it was still possible to find modern, trendy, luxurious accommodation in Britain for less than £100 a night, but Penny Street Bridge proved me wrong. This place is great, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Lancaster. Apparently it just underwent a huge renovation, and whatever they did definitely works. The decor is just amazing, we couldn't have asked for a more comfortable room in a more picturesque setting (the hotel overlooks the canal). The restaurant and bar are both excellent, also, and breakfast is included in the price of the room, making this an all-around winner. [more] |
