Casaramona factory or CaixaForum is located at Av. Marqučs de Comillas, 6-8 and it is worth a peek for anyone who enjoys architecture. It was hailed as one of the best examples of modern industrial architecture. The original building was completely restored by the Caixa Foundation and today it is home to the museum with more then 12.000 square feet of space. The museum mostly concentrates on Modern art, installations and cinematic exhibitions. Opening hours are daily from 10:00am until 8:00pm and on Saturdays from 10:00am until 10:00pm. [more] |
