Hotel Brouwer
This is a small (some might say cramped) bed and breakfast centrally located in Amsterdam. Personally I liked it here for the most part, but my friend wasn't quite so used to the more "charming" aspects of some European hotels. The floors and walls are uneven, which doesn't bother me, but some might find it offputting. The rooms are clean and the staff were friendly to us, but there are no TVs, which is fine because we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Breakfast is small but tasty, and the location is good but it's very close to the red light district, so if you have small children and don't want them to see prostitutes on display, it might not be a great location. All in all it's good value for basic accommodation with no frills. [more] |
