Jim Cullum's Landing
Jim Cullum's Landing has been a San Antonio tradition for more than half a century, and its popularity seems to grow and grow. Situated on the Riverwalk, the Landing is great stop during a night out on the river, or in my case, I tend to come for dinner and stay for the jazz. The menu is amazing, as is true of most restaurants on the River, but what makes the Landing special is the music. The Jim Cullum jazz band is probably the finest jazz ensemble in the city, and from the first note straight through to the evening's end the place is absolutely bursting with energy. This is not a place to go if you want a quiet evening! I can stay all night and drink their fantastic cocktails and never get tired of the place. [more] |
