Vijay's guest house
Run by the famous Vijay aka “The Camel Man” this wonderful and welcoming guesthouse attached to a large family home is an attraction in itself. The great value rooms are all wonderfully air conditioned and pristinely clean. Food at the family table is also available and the best camel safari in Bikaneer can be arranged here. The best thing about this place though is the man Vijay himself. Enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming Vijay will spend the nights in the gardens with guests talking and offering information about the Rajasthan of which he is so proud. He even invited us to a holiday dinner with his family and brothers after a brief conversation the night before. A wonderful place. [more] |
