Mahoney’s Irish pub is probably coming up on it’s second year out at UBC. This is a nice new Irish Pub in Vancouver with a great menu and an even better deck. Like so many of the things I discover at UBC it’s from biking and almost crashing into something new. When I saw the new building that Mahoney’s is in and the outdoor deck I knew that I would have to give the place a try; I was not disappointed at all. Mahoney’s Irish Pub is located at UBC. The easiest way to get there is to take the West 10th Avenue entrance to UBC and spot the Shoppers Drugmart at the end of the road. Once you find parking or the bus loop head back there and go to the far end of the building. It may take a bit to get there but I find it worth the trip, especially if like to hangout on a nice patio. The price does seem to be a little high for a University but at the end of the day it’s not much different than many other similar places. I spend between fifteen and twenty dollars whenever I go.
