Jardin Exotique
Jardin Exotique is located at Bd. du Jardin-Exotique. And well it is definitely exotic. It was Prince Albert I who started collecting cactus's (my friend was delighted at this, as she collects them as well but on much smaller scale) and it grew from there. It really is breathtakingly beautiful. You will also want to explore the Observatory cave (well you cannot really explore as it is part of the tour, but it did remind me of Postojna with all of its stalactites (I never can remember which are which). There is a lot to see in Jardin Exotique and they are truly spectacular but the admission is worth it if for nothing else then the view. Opening hours are from May until September from 9:00am until 7:00pm. The price of admission is €7.00 (it includes entrance to the Anthropology museum too). [more] |
