Fast food with a difference
Cairo seems to have a tradition of excellent fast food, and Cook Door is no exception. The sandwiches are excellent, especially the strangely-named "Viagra Sandwich," which is crab meat, shrimp, and cheese on a baguette. It was heavenly. Mind you, this is not health food - everything is pretty high in fat and grease, but very tasty. It's a great meal if you just want something filling and yummy during your sightseeing adventures. The prices, as you might expect, are very low, so if you're on a budget it's just the perfect place. [more] |
