Located in the heart of the Greenbelt malls in the posh city of Makati, Ebun is a restaurant that you sure would not want to pass up eating in. Personally, I recommend the place for those who would like to try dishes from Pampanga, a nearby province where cooking is practically synonymous to daily living. In the local scene, the people in Pampanga (Pampanguenos, as sometimes referred to) are known for their unique and tasty dishes--the recipes of which they have mostly inherited from their ancestors. As guests of Ebun, you would definitely feel that vibe in spite of the compact area -- the smell of the cooking, the names on the menu, and the type of dishes served. When my friend and I were there, we were bordering on the exotic side so we ordered "kuhol" (snails) and boy, were they delicious! The nice thing to cap off our food trip was that for a two-person meal, we only paid a little over US$12. Certainly, for a pretty high-end place, that was a good deal.
