The Famous Quiapo Church
Trekking through the hustles and bustles of Manila will not be the same if you do not go through the Quaipo church. Situated smack in the middle of the city activities where jeepneys and bargain-hunting individuals abound, the popular Quiapo church attracts huge crowds especially during weekends, Wednesdays, and January 9, the feast day of the Black Nazarene. Even though at this time, Manila traffic is probably at its worst and parking is a lot difficult, I like the fact that the church and the area surrounding the church have been modernized and more organized compared before. After going to church, you can enjoy walking through the Plaza Miranda, shop in the nearby thrift stores and browse through the peddled items, or catch the latest on the electronic billboard fronting the church.
