If you are missing your regular coffee splurges at home, don't worry because there are lots of Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf outlets in Manila to serve you. Locally also called Coffee Bean for short, this cafe is usually located in the major malls around the metro, including the posh Greenbelt and Trinoma malls. Of course, places like Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf have also become regular hang-outs of the mall generation, not just by coffee lovers. In the cafe, it is usual to see friends catching up or even students occupied with their reviews. Among the apparent favorite coffee orders by the locals (and by yours truly) are the ice blended varieties, particularly the Black Forest frappe, and the tea latte drinks. [more] |
