If you are a seafood lover just like yours truly, then you might want to try Seafood Island. So far, I know of only one location, in the Cubao area in Quezon city, but I think the seafood restaurant has the potential to put up more branches in the metro cities in the country. When we first came to the resto during its newly opened phase, the crew was all dressed up in sea pirate costumes and the place was set up similar to the inside of a ship. Nowadays, Blackbeard's Seafood Island still retains that kind of ambiance and offers the same good food. The crew has become smaller in number though. Another new feature in this resto is the live band. So, you can enjoy a nice music while devouring a succulent crab or lobster meal. Going to Blackbeard's Seafood Island is best when you are a group because the resto has meals that resemble those offered in Boracay. For roughly US$10 to US$20, you can already have filling and satisfying group meals served on huge banana leaves, with lots of rice and seafood. Yum! [more] |
