Good Food, Great Atmosphere
L'Autre Cafe offers one of the best atmospheres of any bistro I've found in Paris. It's a typical Parisian bistro, not a tourist trap, and it shows. Their Sunday brunch, offered from 12-5pm every Sunday, is justly famous. They offer good (not great) food at reasonable prices. Expect to pay 12-18 Euros for dinner. There is also a limited wine selection at reasonable prices. The daily specials are always the best quality, and I highly recommend ordering your entire meal from the specials board. The real reason to come here is the atmosphere; it is excellent, and if you can sit and enjoy an appertif near the front windows in summer, you will find yourself a little slice of middle-class Parisian heaven.
