Cheap B&B with exellent quality
The hotel prices in Bamberg is pretty steep in the tourist season mostly because it is a really beautiful town and a huge tourist attraction. Luckily I was lucky enough to stumble upon Gästehaus Hölle 12 which is a family driven Bed&Breakfast consisting of 2 houses with a few appartments in Bamberg downtown. The location is not the most central but the cozy houses and beautiful interior more than makes up for it. We only stayed here for a night but would love to come back some day. The family that runs the Bed&Breakfast was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The rooms were large with a charming room for breakfast and a tiny backgarden for a cup of coffee or a beer. If you are going to Bamberg staying here is a safe bet, and it was only 50 euros per night! [more] |
