Lavender Room - lush gifts and clothing
The Lavender Room shop is on Bond Street in the heart of the North Laines. It is one of my favourite shops on that street because of its atmosphere and beautiful merchandise. It sells lovely and very feminine gifts, jewellery, clothes and shoes. The shop itself is painted all in white and has a light and airy feel to it. It's fairly small and can get crowded with browsers on weekends. Many of the items are expensive, but they do have some gifts and other items for under a tenner. They have purses, frames, tealight holders, earrings, rings, etc that are under £10. But most of the stuff is in the mid- to high- cost range. The clothing is all well made and of high quality and you do pay for it. If nothing else, it's a delightful little shop to stroll through, particularly for women! They do gift-wrapping and have vouchers for sale as well. It's open from 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Saturday and from 11:00am to 5:00pm Sunday. [more] |
