A blip on the radar, so to speak

You wouldn’t really think of Thai/Vietnamese food when you think of Savannah, well I don’t anyway. But sure enough there’s this place Saigon restaurant right on Broughton street. They are a pretty odd establishment that seems to exist to give Art School students wait staff jobs, but the food is pretty OK. I say ‘Pretty OK’ because, well, I’ve had better. Much better as far as their Thai dishes go, and their Vietnamese dishes are pretty… well, OK. I know people that like them a lot, and that’s a matter of personal taste. That’s cool, we can agree to disagree, but overall, unless you are dying for some springrolls, I’d say you just keep on moving to a better place to grab a bite to eat. [more]
