Stereotypical tea house
This café made me laugh because they put all the stereotypes of an English tea house in one place, but if you've ever been to a real tea house you can spot the non-English touches here and there (they serve bagels, for instance, which would just never happen in an English tea house). The decor is very flowery and frilly, which gets to be a bit much, but again I think they're trying to boost the stereotype, so it works in the overall scheme. Service could be better, and I think they could do with toning the overall feel down a bit. [more] |
